Here are some details of the range of Philips Amalgam Lamps designed for use in Wedeco TAK systems. The part numbers are TUV 230 XPT SE which is a direct replacement for Wedeco part number SLR 25143
Please note the four pin single ended end cap is now standard on all of the range.
This does away with the cumbersome loose wire connection system which was always a problem area it also greatly speeds up relamping.
We also have the variable power lamp normally part number SLR 32143/4P similarly this is a single ended version and is way ahead of the competition in both quality of construction and performance.
Note the greatly increased size of the filament and the lack of a reduction in diameter at the pinch seal, the quartz glass is precoated to minimise solarisation giving better performance over the life of the lamps.
